HFC Bank scooped the prestigious WIB Employer of Choice award at the 2016 Women in Business awards night held at the GPH on Saturday 14th March. This is a momentous achievement for the bank as HFC Bank strongly promotes gender diversity, equality and inclusiveness at the workplace and we are proud to say that women have been equally recognized at the workplace and rewarded at this platform with this award.

In 2006, HFC Bank (then Home Finance Company) had three (3) women in leadership role, over the years the bank has seen women grow into leadership roles and in some key positions. Today, HFC Bank prides nineteen (19) women leaders at the Bank. Out of six (6) branches, we have total of four (4) of our women branch managers supervising branch operations. On the Executive Team for HFC Bank we have a lady represented Ms Rosie Fong – General Manger Human Resource and Marketing and in senior management leadership we have three aspiring women that can assimilate into the executive position as opportunity presents itself.

Apart from career opportunities within the organization, HFC Bank exposes its women leaders equally as advocates and ambassadors for sponsorship and community outreach programs; one such event is the HFC Bank sponsored, Male dominated Farebrother Challenge where we have encouraged women leaders of our bank to be Chief Guests to represent the Bank on the rugby field.
